Blend coffee shop commissioned me to create two paintings for their cafe within Nottingham Contemporary Art Gallery. These paintings were to reflect the colours of Blends branding but other than that; I had free reign to create what I wanted. At the time, I was experimenting with the idea of flower-inspired works, looking for shapes and patterns within the flowers to inform the painting. These paintings were created using emulsion on timber.
