Project: School Playground Mural, Grimsby
Commissioned by: Wellspring Academy Trust as part of their Communicolour project.
Brief: Create a mural across the entire front of the school including a section of the playground floor.
Interpretation of brief: After assessing the space and picking the perfect space for the floor mural. I decided to work on the theme of Paths, Routes and Roads. The idea being the mural would feature shapes that would represent the endless possibilities in life and the many routes that can be taken. This idea adds to my previous commission at the school which was all about building character through new experiences and how this can help you to ‘Flourish’ (which was the title of the piece).
